 정교회 세계 총대주교 바르톨로메오 1세 성하와 노무현 대통령과의 면담(2005년 6월 24일 오전 11시)

1995년과 2000년에 이어 2005년 한국을 세 번째 방문하시는 정교회 세계총대주교 바르톨로메오 1세와 노무현 대통령이 6월 24일 오전 11시에 청와대에서 환담하셨다. 총대주교 성하는 같은 날 오후 춘천에 세워진 정교회 사회복지관을 축성하시고, 이어서 26일 주일에는 울산 성 디오니시오스 성당을 축성하셨다.
 

Heartfelt Gratitude to H.A.H. Bartholomew I

(Ulsan) H.E. Sotirios of Korea expressed His heartfelt gratitude and affection on behalf of the seven local communities (Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Jeon-Joo, Choon-Cheon, Palangri, and Ulsan) to His All Holiness for His Blessings and Fraternal Affection at thefarewell gathering in KimHae International Airport VIP Lobby on 27th June, 2005.

H.A.H. Bartholomew I met the President of Republic of Korea on 24th June 2005, and thanked Mr. President for the Freedom of Religions in Korea.

Hundreds of the Orthodox Faithful and many other guests participated at the Celebration of the 50thAnniversary of Pastoralship of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for the Orthodox Church in Korea, at theconsecration of the Orthodox Social Welfare Center in Choon-Cheon, and at the Consecration of the St. Dionysios Orthodox Church in Ulsan.
