We celebrated 100th birthday of one of our ederly for the first time ever at our Community on 11th June of 2012. She received a Christian name, "Photiny", that she may be the light to the many for hope to be blessed for many many years in the Light of our Church. At her 100 years old ages she still cleans her house and walk around the house without any assistance. Her secret for such long life is to eat a little food as much as she can. Our parishioners presented her a nice birthday cake and, most of all, Fr. Daniel offered fervent prayers and warm wishes on behalf of the community.

인천 성당은 지난 6월 11일 원로들의 월례 점심식사 때에 올해로 100세를 맞이 하는 할머니에게 생일축하 기도를 드렸습니다. 다니엘 신부께서는 마을의 빛이요 희망이 되어 많은 사람들이 오랫토록 살수 있기를 기원하는 뜻으로 "포티니" 라는 새로운 이름을 지어드렸습니다. 포티니께서는 100세의 삶을 살 수 있는 것은 소식을 하는 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 지금도 포티니는 혼자서 집안 일을 하고 계시며 마을회관과 성당에 참여하실 때에는 부축없이 혼자서 걸어서 다니십니다.
